The conditions set forth below govern all orders placed by you via the Website and as such constitute a contract between you and Maillard.co (the “Terms”). Please read these conditions carefully before you place an order via the Website.
The Terms apply to any purchase and any order you may place via the Website. By placing an order for our products, you agree to be bound by, and comply with, the Terms. Should you wish not to be bound by the Terms, we invite you not to place an order.
Maillard.co invites you to familiarize yourself with its Privacy Policy (the “Privacy Policy”), put in place to inform you about the way in which Maillard.co collects, uses and communicates the personal data you supply us with as part of your interaction with the Website. Maillard.co purports to provide precise descriptions of its products but cannot warrant the accuracy, reliability, up-to-dateness or integrity of the descriptions displayed on the Website. Moreover, pictures of the products appearing on the Website are provided for information only.
2.3 WARRANTY
Maillard.co remembers the trustful relationship which existed between butcher and its customers. It is in that spirit that Maillard.co endeavours to offer you a product that will meet your expectations. Should you be unsatisfied with a piece of meat that we delivered to you, please let us know quickly. Maillard.co reserves the right to limit the replacement or refund of your piece of meat.
2.4 ACCEPTATION OF ORDERS
Maillard.co will send you a confirmation email upon reception of your order. All orders placed via the Website remain subject to acceptation by Maillard.co. Should we refuse to process your order, or should we decide, at our sole discretion, to cancel your order, we are committed to inform you of such decision and as the case may be, not to invoice you or to refund you any amount collected according to the payment method used.
2.5 CHANGES AND MISTAKES
Subject to applicable laws, Maillard.co reserves its right to (i) change the price of products advertised or offered for sale on the Website, as well as any promotional offer, at any time and without prior notice, and without engaging our liability towards you or anyone else; (ii) limit the quantities sold or offered for sale; and (iii) cancel an order, put an end to it or refuse to process it (including an order previously accepted by us), should we realize that the price or any other specification of the product is incorrect or for any other reason.
Should we ever realize that the price of a product displayed on the Website and ordered by you is incorrect, and insofar as this product is available, we will offer you the possibility to order it at the corrected price.
2.6 CHANGE OR CANCELLATION OF AN ORDER

2.7 SECURE TRANSACTION
Credit card payment is done using encrypted mode according to SSL (Secure Socket Layers) protocol. At no time will Maillard.co have access to your credit card information. Your banking information is processed by our supplier only and is subject to its privacy policy. However, no safety mechanism is perfect and you should know that there always exists some risk that personal data you transmit to Maillard.co might leak without your consent and through no fault of its own. Maillard.co declines all responsibility in the event that your personal data leaks, except in case of negligence on its part.
3. PRICE AND PAYMENT TERMS
3.1 PRICE
The price for our products is shown in Canadian dollars. All fees, including those arising from shipping and delivery, as well as applicable sales taxes, are not included. Maillard.co reserves the right to modify the price of products offered on the Website at any time and without prior notice.
3.2 PAYMENT TERMS
Products bought on the Website must be paid by credit card. Your card will be debited upon placing your order.
3.3 SALES RECEIPT
The sales receipt for your purchases will be automatically generated by the Website and will be sent to you by email once Maillard.co has processed your order. Such sales receipt will be deemed to be an integral part of the Terms.
4. DELIVERY
The delivery process begins once all the ordered products are prepared and payment is approved. If your items are available, they should normally leave our warehouse according to the following schedule:
Order placed on: Saturday, Sunday, Monday (before 1 p.m., Montreal time)
Delivery Expected on: Tuesday
Order placed on: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (before 1 p.m., Montreal time)
Delivery Expected on: The following day
Order placed on: Friday (before 1 p.m., Montreal time)
Delivery Expected on: The following Monday
Any order placed after 1 p.m., Montreal time, will be deemed to have been placed on the following day.
We will send you a confirmation email upon shipping your order.
We deliver in Quebec and Ontario only. We are unable at the moment to deliver to post office boxes or to addresses outside of Canada, or in some geographical areas of Quebec and Ontario.
We ship meat in an insulated cooler that ensures a +30-hour freezing following shipping of the order. It includes cooling dry ice blocks at a temperature of -80 degrees to ensure food preservation. You should never handle dry ice with your hands without protection since there is a real risk of injury. Maillard.co cannot be held liable for any damage resulting from your handling of dry ice blocks. Maillard.co suggests that you dispose of dry ice in an outside trash can.
As soon as you receive your order, please inspect the packaging and content of your order for any potential damage that may have occurred during transportation. It is however normal that the packaging may show signs of wear.
5. NO RETURN
Due to the nature of our products, all orders placed on the Website and delivered by Maillard.co constitute a finale sale, with no possibility of return.
